Dear Editor
We could never run every letter sent to us from Powder readers. It’d be impossible. However, I’d like to share this one with you. I’ve omitted the writer’s name out of respect for his privacy. This letter has been edited for clarity. -M.R.
I just wanted to say thank you to the magazine, editors, writers and contributors. 2011 has been an extremely rough year for me and...

Here’s a video introduction to 2011 Powder Week. We were all visibly exhausted from skiing, partying, and putting together the best buyer’s guide to date. Check it out on Powder.com.

'Carry That Weight' - The Teaser
For as long as I can remember skiing teasers and trailers have been the Internet highlight of a skier’s summer. Film companies offer a four-minute appetizer to their next movie meal. Web editors love these releases because as anyone with a seasonal site will attest, traffic dips during the warm weather months. Keeping sites alive are a few South America, New Zealand, Whistler, or Mt....
